About Lion in the sun Lion in the Sun is an international company founded by Cristina and Paul Sanders in 1999. We have offices in Surrey, England; New York State, USA; and Hawkes' Bay in New Zealand. The purpose of the company is to supply high quality, fashionable sun protective swimwear to the world market. "With three children of our own, we know how important it is to produce clothing that fits well and looks good and we know how particular kids can be. Especially with UV swimwear, where the purpose is to provide a sun protective barrier, it is essential that children are happy with the designs we produce."
